At the CSF, we focus on:

La francophonie

The CSF is one of the main Francophone employers in British Columbia. Our 47 schools serve numerous Francophone communities across the province. Nearly 1,200 staff members share their language and contribute to the cultural and identity development of more than 6,000 students.

Indigenous Pedagogy

With deep respect for Indigenous Peoples, the CSF is committed to developing programs that benefit all our students. Staff members receive training and support in implementing Indigenous pedagogies and practices.

Inclusion

Each student is welcomed into their age-appropriate group or class and is supported in progressing through adapted approaches.

Equity and Anti-Racism

The CSF fosters a respectful, welcoming, caring, and safe learning and working environment. Policies are clearly defined, and staff are trained to celebrate diversity and adopt anti-racist behaviours.

Carriers in education

Preschool, elementary, secondary, and specialized teachers apply innovative pedagogical approaches that value student learning.

Teaching positions are regulated. You must complete the certification process through Teaching in BC. Teaching licenses from other Canadian provinces are recognized, and you can apply at any time. Check our job postings!

Teachers trained outside of Canada must obtain certification through Teaching in BC before applying. This ensures you are eligible for an interview, and the CSF will support you in your immigration process.
